ARTrageous 2009

The 2009 ARTrageous was a great success, selling out in record time. ARTrageous is an annual event hosted by the Whistler Arts Council during the weekend of Cornucopia in Whistler.  The theme this year was “The S2S Masterpiece” where local artists showcased their best work, there was a wide range of creative artwork on display from fine art, abstract, costume and photography (Including Chili Thom, Laurel Terlesky, Matt Walker and many more)

Whishes – Whistler’s Wedding and Celebration Showcase

On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November 09 Whistler24 Attended the event ‘Wishes’ hosted by ‘Celebrate Events‘. Wishes was the first annual 2 day - Whistler’s Wedding and Celebration event, where local vendors displayed their products/services in the Whistler Telus Conference Centre.

Wishes hosted a range of vendors from wedding photographers, florists, activity providers, hotels and spas, caterers, decorators and wedding planners, everything you would need to plan your big day.

Throughout the weekend at the conference centre, several workshops took place, which included a photography workshop hosted by Tallevi Studios, Floral workshop byRembrandt Designs – showcasing different styles of wedding flowers available and how to pick an individual design for your wedding.
