PIQUE Newsmagazine – Looking for new cover artists
Pique Newsmagazine is looking to expand its small stable of cover artists to include a wider range of art mediums and forms, as well as getting back to better promoting the work of local artists.

LIGHTS OUT – Call for Entry
Lights Out is a local art show held in Transition Space gallery of art in the dark. Thursday, October 22 is opening night, where the windows will be blacked out and the light out. Upon entry, people will be guided by light sources to view the show.
Deadline for Entry: October 5, 2009, Deadline for dropping off work: October 16th, between 7pm & 9pm, Entry Fee: $25.00
THEME:
The suggested theme is Apocalypse Now; however, artists can deviate from this theme to produce their own impressions of ‘lights out’. All door proceedes will be donated to Whistler Adaptive Sports Program.
ARTrageous – Call for Entry
Whistler Arts Council ARTrageous - Call for Entry
Whistler’s official art party is coming back for a night of electric performances, visual arts, interactive creations and music. After last year’s sold out show the Whistler Arts Council is once again seeking Sea-to-Sky Corridor visual artists in any medium (photography, acrylic, watercolour, pen, pencil/ink, oil, sculpture) to submit work for this year’s ARTrageous. Chosen artists will be asked to display 1-3 pieces of work each.
