Here is a sketch I did during the Whistler Arts Council Art drawing workshop with long time local Whistler artist Isobel MacLaurin. Which I then scanned in and added colour using my new Wacom tablet.

Inspiration of the week 06

This weeks inspiration of week is slightly different, It is my new Wacom Intuos 4 Pen Tablet.

Wacom’s latest offering in the tablet series is the Intuous4, which adds better quality pressure sensitivity and precision. Right off the bat, the Intuous4 makes a great first impression. Everything about it is very sleek – from the design, right down to the packaging. The smooth, satin black tablet is cascaded with new design features including a range of express keys, led buttons and a radial menu on the side.

Function Block pARTy Round 2

Round 2 of the Whistler Arts Council’s, Artwalk Function Block Party is Friday 21st, 2009 in Function Junction, Whistler.

With less walking, more venues, free food, art, live music, artisans & entertainment, this Block pARTy promises to knock your socks off!  The pARTy is separated into 2 sections to increase venue accessibility: Block 1 -The Carnival is located around Millar Creek Rd, from 6-8pm and Block 2 - The After pARTy is located around Alpha Lake Rd, from 8-10pm.
